Alvin Fan is a 20 year asset management veteran and CEO of OP Investment Management. Since helming OPIM’s regulated incubation business in 2014, he’s helped structure countless Asia-based funds and launched some of the region’s most exciting strategies across every major hedge fund asset class – from China market neutral quants to digital assets. As a result, OPIM recently won HFM’s best platform of the year with over $2 billion in AUM/AUA across more than 35 strategies in 2022 alone. Alvin was previously Director of Incubated Funds at OP Financial Investments Ltd, responsible for monitoring the company’s portfolio of public equity investments including fund of funds. Prior to joining OP, Alvin worked in private equity and venture capital focusing on distressed assets, infrastructure and property across Asia and EU. Connie Wong is a Managing Director based in the Singapore operation where she oversees strategic partnerships and business growth for the Asia-Pacific region. Connie also serves as an independent director to Asia-based hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds with varying structure and investment strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Connie joined Waystone in 2015 and was based initially in the Cayman Islands office, before subsequently moving to roles based in the Hong Kong and Singapore operations. Prior to joining Waystone, Connie was a manager of the Finance and Fund Referred Reporting Engagement Group at PwC in the Cayman Islands, where she managed the finance operations for the Cayman Islands and Bahamas offices and liaised on financial and operating matters with all business units within the company, including the Caribbean region. While at PwC, Connie managed a portfolio of hedge fund clients in North America and managed the financial reporting requirements of investment funds across jurisdictions such as the Cayman Islands, North America and Luxembourg. Connie was also responsible for reviewing the financial statements of CIMA registered funds received from the global PwC network. In addition to her native Cantonese, Connie is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Hokkien/Taiwanese.

He oversees an insurance portfolio that consists of property, casualty, marine and financial lines products and has gross written premium more than US$170m. Prior to that, Douglas served as the Head of Financial Lines at Chubb Hong Kong, and previously, at its strategic partner Huatai Insurance in the mainland China. In his Head of Financial Lines role, Douglas and his team offered tailored made insurance solutions to executives, investment managers and other professionals in the Greater China region. Douglas holds an MBA degree and is a CFA Charterholder.

Simon Yip

Theodore Shou

Mr. Shou is the chief investment officer at Skybound Capital. With an academic background in China, Theodore Shou started his career lecturing economics. Subsequently, Shou worked on investment roles with HSBC, where he was mostly specialised in manager selection and asset allocation. He was stationed in London, New York, Geneva and Hong Kong. Shou joined Skybound Capital in 2011 to set up its Asian business before taking up more roles within the group. Mr. Shou holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Economics. PAML is the first and only asset manager permitted by SFC in Hong Kong to conduct fund tokenisation business, and is permitted to manage 100% of portfolio(s) in virtual assets (including security tokens and crypto assets). At Tykhe, Tony is responsible for the development of Tykhe's security token offering (STO) business and the project lead of PRINCE Token project, the first real estate fund STO managed by a Hong Kong licensed asset manager. Prior to his role at Tykhe Group, Tony led the product strategy and partnership across Tykhe’s subsidiaries from custody, payment to trading platform; particularly, he drove a number of banking and brokerage partnerships focusing on providing enabling infrastructure for financial market intermediaries to enter Web3. At Tykhe, Tony is responsible for the development of Tykhe's security token offering (STO) business and the project lead of PRINCE Token project, the first real estate fund STO managed by a Hong Kong licensed asset manager.
